Books is an award-winning feminist and lesbian publishing house committed
to producing quality work in a wide variety of genres by ethnically and racially
diverse authors.
Firebrand has garnered twelve Lambda Literary Awards (including
the Publisher's Service Award) and four American Library Association Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual

Submission Guidelines
Firebrand Books is an award-winning press dedicated to publishing high
quality work. We have a very selective but open submissions policy. We are
currently accepting submissions of fiction and non-fiction. We are not
accepting poetry. Please send a one page query letter describing your work.
Include a bio and information about the potential audience. Include a
self-addressed stamped envelope and we will respond within 90 days.
